About ANTICANCERWEB
Anticancerweb (ACW) is an educational project, helping people to cope with cancer.
Using a multimedia interactive narrative, ACW improves cognitive skills and promotes a better qualified shared decision making.
The entire society is invited to participate. However, everybody should understand that ACW is not a doctor's office.
There is no virtual medical care. Dealing with individual health has ethical consequences and should always imply in confidentiality.
The issues are limited to general guidelines related to cancer epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
ACW uses only fictional clinical cases improving patient’s sense of belongingness.
Patients are encouraged to use ACW collective intelligence to improve and qualify the relationship with physicians.
